Terms of Use

Last updated: May 21, 2026

These terms govern your use of Instage Studio ("the Software"). By installing or using the Software you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, don't use the Software.

License

Instage Studio is licensed, not sold, to you. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on Mac computers you own or control, in accordance with the Mac App Store's standard end-user license agreement (the EULA shown in the App Store at install time).

The one-time in-app purchase to unlock video export is tied to the Apple ID that completed the purchase. You may restore the unlock on any Mac signed in with the same Apple ID, subject to the activation limits Apple sets for non-consumable in-app purchases.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Instage Studio only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. In particular, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to record any screen, audio, person, or other content you capture with the Software.

No warranty

The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall the developers be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from, out of, or in connection with the Software or the use or other dealings in the Software.

Refunds

All purchases of Instage Studio and its in-app unlock are processed by Apple and governed by Apple's refund policy. Refund requests should be submitted through reportaproblem.apple.com.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we will update the date above and post the new version at this URL. Continued use of the Software after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
